New Practice Wall

Wall 4.jpg

January 31, 2019

I have been blessed to grow as an artist each day and explore new styles. Play with new mediums, like spray paint. I’ve been practicing whenever I can or can afford to buy cans (spray cans are not cheap). Since moving into the new home here in Venice CA, I’ve built a 8 foot tall by 10 foot wide plywood wall. The first thing I did on the wall was an eye. I’ve been exploring eyes lately and in the newest post coming up I’ll explain the meaning behind the eyes and where they originally came from. Until then check out this piece I did that was inspired by KAWS. That dude is a machine and beast! I love his art and growth as an artist. After seeing a piece of his I was inspired to knock out a creation of my own. My lettering is still long ways from where I want but my lines and colors are becoming more and more on point. Thank you all for taking this ride with me. AWAN
